Updated Pictures

Norah is getting so big! She is getting more and more smiley all the time and is sleeping through the night (10pm to usually 6am)! We couldn't ask for a better baby.

Wade, still the proud big brother. He usually goes about and does his own thing but every once and awhile he'll want to hold his sister, for just a moment!

Luke with his 2 turkeys he shot this season...he was pretty excited about it!!

Working on some tummy time.

All 3 kids....impossible!

We're not getting off to a very good start.

Hey, where is everyone going? What a face Lila (she obviously doesn't want her sister to be touching her!).

As good as it's going to get!

Never a Dull Moment

Norah was admitted to Children's Hospital on Thursday evening due to RSV (a respiratory virus) and dehydration. We were able to come home yesterday and she is doing much better!! The rest of us have colds as well so it's no wonder that she caught something too.

Dozer moved to a new home today. It was a tough decision for Luke and me but with the number of times he was getting off his leash or the kids letting him out the door, he was starting to cause trouble in the neighborhood. He likes so much attention and with 3 kids, he wasn't getting a whole lot either. We are fortunate that Luke's cousin, Molly, has found him a good home. He will be moving to a farm with even more room to roam around and a little girl that loves dogs. He will most definitely be missed.

On a positive note, we have found a nanny that will be with us 3 days a week until this fall. We are excited to have found someone that the kids like and will have fun with going to the pool, zoo and library this summer!

Hopefully things will start getting back to normal around here and we all start feeling better!

Happy Birthday to Wade!

Wade turned 3 years old on April 5th! We had two birthday celebrations at Easter this year and he had so much fun.

Happy Birthday Wade!

Great Uncle Steve wishing Wade a happy birthday after he blew out his candles.

Lila savoring every bite of her cupcake...needless to say the dress didn't end up with any chocolate on it, just her face :)!!

Allysen giving some love to baby Norah.

Wade playing with his new disc. He loves anything having to do with the farm and has such a great imagination! He has been enjoying going down to the farm all the time since I've been home and playing with Grandma Ruth's tractor collection!!
Wade's second birthday celebration with a farm cake! Wade and Lila blew out the candles lots of times!

The day of Wade's birthday we ventured to the zoo. Wade said his favorite thing on that visit was the fish...who knows what it will be next time??

While at the zoo we ran into Alyssa and Maggie and their kids enjoying Easter break!

Happy Easter!

Norah showing off her Easter goodies.

Wade and Lila checking out what the Easter bunny left by the door.

Decorating Easter eggs! The kids really liked picking out the colors of their eggs and decorating them with stickers. (Note: I do not pick out the pajama combinations for the kids!! :)

Norah is 1 month old!

Where is the time going?? Norah turned 1 month old on Wade's Birthday (April 5th). She is still such a good baby. Here are some of the things going on with Norah:
  • She wakes up about every 3 hours at night but the last couple of nights have stretched out to about 4 hours...yea!!
  • She is most awake in the afternoons and definitely has a fussy period in the evenings.
  • Tolerates her brother and sister picking on her very well :) (We've had to start watching Lila closely...many of her kisses have turned into scratches and hits!).
  • Likes going from her bouncer, swing and activity gym.
  • Loves to be talked to and cuddled!

Norah has a Mohawk!

Norah's hair definitely has a mind of its own! It naturally sticks right up into a MOHAWK!

Baby Norah Comes Home

We were all happy to finally be home on Sunday. I had surgery that morning to remove the kidney stones so I'm crossing my fingers that I won't have to deal with those for a LONG time!! Norah so far is a pretty laid back baby...she really only cries when she's hungry and sleeps a lot! She seems to change everyday in looks but so far we think she resembles Wade the most. Thanks to everyone for all their well wishes and congrats. We greatly appreciate everyones calls, emails and texts! Thank you also to our family for all the help you've given us so far with the kids...we feel so blessed to live close to family!

Norah Elizabeth has arrived!

Baby Norah arrived Friday, March 5th at 11:53am. She weighed in at 8 lbs and 20 inches long. I was admitted to the hospital on Thursday due to kidney stones and the doctors thought it would be best to induce before attempting anything with the stones. Good thing she was almost 2 weeks early...she would probably have been a 9 pounder!!

Wade and Lila love their new baby sister. While in the hospital, Lila didn't want anyone else to hold her except for her! Since we've been home they always want to know where the baby is and if she needs any milk. Lila also does not think she ever needs any blankets on her!

We're Back!!

Wade is growing up so much! We've just noticed in the last week that all his shirts are getting too short!! He loves going to the farm with Luke (and copying everything he does...yikes!), scooping snow, playing with all his tractors and hay trailer, going to school once a week and painting. He can't keep a secret at all...so don't ask him what the name of the baby is!!!

Wade and Lila have become pretty good pals...most of the time. They both want to be doing what the other is and are excited about Baby Spencer...especially Lila. She loves to give my tummy kisses. They both claim they're going to be a big help! Baby Spencer will be here in about 6 weeks!

Lila is Miss Independent! She loves to dress herself (as you can see in the picture), go potty in the potty chair, talk on the phone, play with her babies and is learning more and more words every week. She has quite the personality and makes us laugh every day with her silly expressions.

Merry Christmas!

Godfather Pat made a stop at our house! Thanks for the Yankee shirt and hat!! Lila absolutely loved Pat...Wade is still up in the air!

Celebrating with Grandma and Grandpa Plumb the day after Christmas since the roads were still bad. Here's Wade helping Grandpa open one of his gifts.

Lila whipping up some food with her new kitchen set!

Wade and Daddy playing with the new train set!

At the Spencer's on Christmas Eve despite the horrible weather! The power went out for about 2 hours but we still enjoyed good food, company and lots of presents. Thank you to everyone!!

I was snowed in from work the day before Christmas Eve so we decided to make some Christmas sugar cookies...I had forgotten how much time they take!

Visiting Santa at Bass Pro Shop. The only thing that Wade wanted for Christmas was a real pig! Unfortunately he never made it to our house Christmas morning. We thought for sure with everything else that Wade got he would forget about it...nope!! The first thing out of his mouth that morning was "Santa didn't bring my piggy!"

Happy Halloween!

Wade, the cowboy and Lila, the pumpkin. As you can see, Lila is already digging into the suckers...they both LOVE sweets!

Luke and I had a carving contest...I think you can tell you won?!?!?

At first Wade and Lila weren't so sure about carving pumpkins, but by the end they were both trying to eat the slime!! Ewwwww :)
