Wade and Lila

Lila has moved onto the jumper....she hasn't quite figured out to jump yet but loves looking at the toys on it.

Wade and Dozer have a love/hate relationship and so everyone once in a while Dozer gives in and lets Wade go for a ride!

I found my feet!

Wade is turning into such a little boy!  He is saying lots of words and tries to repeat everything you say.  His favorite things to do are go to the farm with Daddy, play with his tractors and loaders, and go to the golf course with Grandpa Plumb.  He is quite the busy boy!

Happy Birthday Luke!

While we celebrated Lila almost fell out of her papasan chair!!  I think we need to start buckling her in :)

I think Wade enjoyed blowing the candle out more than Luke did...we had to blow it out over and over again.  Luke enjoyed Patti's apple pie for his birthday dessert...YUM!

October is Here!

We went on our first bike ride together with Lila.  As you can see she fell fast asleep!

Wade LOVES watching the farmer pick his beans in the field by our house!  He loves anything having to do with tractors these days.

  

Well so much for Wade loving his baby sister.  The only time he seems to pay any attention to her is when she has something he wants.  But Lila loves watching Wade...she gets so excited and smiles at him all the time.

Lila is such a happy baby!  She is already 4 months old...it's hard to believe how fast time goes by.  She is rolling over, eating cereal and some vegetables and fruits.  Her favorite things to do are be outside, watch her brother Wade, and play with her elephant.

Fall is on its way

It has quickly turned to fall.  We have been enjoying weather in the 60's and 70's this past week and it looks much of the same this week.  We got pumpkins last weekend from Aunt Alice's garden...thank you!!  

A trip to the zoo

We all enjoyed a trip the Henry Doorly Zoo on Friday. Wade truly loves animals and it is fun to watch him get so excited!  One of his favorites was the gorillas.... 

Sadly, I think is about one of the first family pictures we've had since Lila has been born...oh, how time gets away from you.

Pony Ride

Wade was invited to a neighborhood party at the park near Grandma and Grandpa Plumb's. He loved riding the ponies and Grandpa Larry is already threatening to buy him one for Christmas...ahhhh!

Lila is already 3 months old!  I can't believe how fast the time has gone by.  She is still such a good baby.  She's sleeping through the night (about 9 hours!) and is watching her big bother more and more.

One week old

Introducing Lila Jane Spencer

Lila Jane Spencer was born on May 22 at 11pm. She weighed 7lbs. 12oz and was 20 inches long. So far she is a very good baby...only crying when she's hungry. Wade is adjusting quite well...sometimes he's interested but usually he just goes about his own business. We are so blessed to have a healthy baby girl!

Zonked Out

Wade has worn Dozer out once again. Dozer doesn't know what he's going to do when there's 2 of them to deal with!

Wade is now walking!! He took his first steps about 2 weeks ago and has caught on very quickly. He is very proud of himself...when he falls he stops to clap his hands in excitement!

Now we will probably be chasing even more!!

I'm Growing Up!

I'm getting to be such a big boy...I already have 8 teeth! My favorie things to do these days are cruising around all the furniture, bothering Dozer and getting into everything!!

I love to help load the dishwasher...my mom thinks I'm a real big help!

Christmas Morning

We had a wonderful Christmas...we spent Christmas Eve with the Spencer's and Christmas Day with the Plumb's. We're lucky that we're all close enough to spend this special time of the year together. Wade especially loved all the paper and bows!

Night at Lied Lodge

Cousin Faith and Wade enjoy some swim time while celebrating Grandpa Ed's birthday!

Unfortunately, the Internet has been down on our computer at home so I haven't been able to post pictures in a while. Everyone is doing well though...busy as always. Wade caught a virus over Christmas so we battled that for about 1 1/2 weeks but at his 9 month check-up everything looked great! He weighed 25 lbs 6 oz and was 30 1/2 inches long. Our next adventure will be breaking him of the bottle before his 12 month appointment so we can get some relief before the baby is born!!

We also found out that we will be expecting a GIRL! We are thrilled!

Luke heads to Denver this week for the Western Stock Show. He has a bull on display and also three heifers showing so it will be an exciting time for him.
