Jude at home

Jude and I came home from the hospital on Saturday. Lila was there to take baby Jude home...she's such a good little mommy!

Sweet Baby Jude...so far we think he looks quite a bit like Wade did as a baby.

Cousin Tinley came to hang out with Jude!

Jude Francis

We welcomed Jude into the Spencer family on October 20th at 2:56pm. He weighed 8 lbs 12 oz and was 22 inches long (we've found his length was actually an error or he shrunk at his 2 week appt!!). Jude is such a sweet baby and all the kids are in love with him!

Catching Up

It's been awhile since the blog has been updated! We've been busy with work, taking the kids to school and getting ready for Baby Spencer (which is any day now) to arrive!

Today we ventured to a pumpkin patch. The kids had fun picking out all kinds of different sized pumpkins and made sure that Baby Spencer will have one too!

Happy Birthday Luke!

Cousin Tinley

Katie and Tim welcomed Tinley Marie on September 29th. The kids were so excited to meet her and want to hold her whenever they see her! Congrats Katie and Tim...she is beautiful!

Sisters

First Day of School

Wade and Lila started school the end of August. They are both loving school this year. Wade goes three days a week this year and his favorite thing is gym (imagine that!). He also gets to go to music and computer class and check out a library book each week. He is learning lots and keeps much of it a secret so he's always surprising us with what he actually knows!

Lila goes to school twice a week and loves her teacher. She also has two friends, Iris and Audrey, that she talks about a lot. She loves to show and talk about what she makes at school and is sad when she has to leave it there. We can't wait until I-680 is re-opened so the school will be even closer!

Fairs

At the Iowa State Fair we took the kids when there wasn't a cattle show so we could venture past the cattle barns :) We had fun going down the big yellow slide, enjoying root beer, toffee, watermelon in a cup and fresh ice cream.

The kids also had fun at the Little Hands on the Farm where they got to be farmers and picked out a prize at the grocery store when they got money from selling their crop at the farmer's market (trying to teach kids where their actually comes from!).

Wade got 2nd place at the West Pott County Fair tractor pull. Luke already has big plans for next year as far as training goes :)

Our little stinker

This picture says it all! Our little Norah has turned into quite the independent little girl. We never thought she would walk and now all she does is run!! She's constantly on the go and can definitely hold her own with Wade and Lila. Despite being a little stinker, she brings us a lot of entertainment and the kids love to laugh at her silly antics!

4th of July FUN

We had a fun 4th of July weekend. We went swimming and also took Wade and Lila to their first movie...Cars 2. Needless to say, we won't be going back to a movie for a LONG time!

All ready for the 4th of July Parade in Logan! I think Norah enjoyed the parade the most...she was best candy picker upper!

After the parade, we ventured over to the park to the carnival. Wade had a blast on the slide with Grandma Ruth, Aunt Hannah, Allysen and Lila.

Enjoying the Dog Days of Summer

It has been extremely HOT here the past couple of weeks. The kids don't seem to mind and have been keeping cool with trips to the pool, running in the sprinkler and eating lots of ice cream!!

Norah LOVES watermelon! And she's moved to a booster seat....she thinks she's such a big girl!

Wade thought it would be a good idea to put the buggy on the back of his bike. The girls loved it! Shortly after this picture he mastered riding his bike with NO training wheels. Luke and I thought it was going to be a big deal but he hopped right on and took off!

Happy Birthday to Lila!

Happy 3rd Birthday to Lila! She had a busy birthday weekend--going to a family event at my work, Allysen's birthday party, going out to eat for bones (which are actually ribs...Lila's favorite!) and going for a swim in the new pool!

The kids have been having a blast in their new slide and pool!

Lila only asked for 2 things for her birthday...Pinkalicious Cupcakes (if you don't know what these are, you'll have to check out the book!) and a coat for her baby doll Abbie. Needless to say she came out pretty successful!

Much to my surprise there were 2 goslings in our garage when I came home from work yesterday. Lucky us :)

I am one cool lady

Happy Easter!

Wade was so excited for Easter that he had everyone up at 5:30am! The girls look more than thrilled to be up so early. :)

Lila and Norah checking out what the Easter bunny brought them.

Wade was hoping he would get a rain jacket and rain boots for Easter--looks like he got what he wanted! Both Wade and Lila have been very concerned about the rain this Spring!

We celebrated Easter by going to church and then headed to my parents for dinner!

Hunting Easter eggs!

Happy 4th Birthday Wade!

Wade, how old are you today?

We celebrated Wade's birthday at Zio's Pizza! Blowing candles out of farm animal cupcakes (he still loves anything having to do with the farm!).

Luke, the kids and I also went to Great Wolf Lodge for Wade's birthday. The kids had a great time. Wade could go down all the BIG slides except for one and loved every minute of it!

Luke under the big bucket of water being splashed down!

Happy 1st Birthday Norah

Norah turned one on March 5th...the year has gone by SO fast! She continues to be a go with the flow baby and loves doing whatever Wade and Lila are up to. She's still not walking but cruises along all the furniture and can get to where ever she needs to be. We're so glad she's such a HAPPY baby girl!!

Happy Norah!

It only took 10 months but baby Norah finally has her crib up! I think she's pretty excited!!

Merry Christmas!

This holiday season seemed like a whirlwind--I can't believe how fast it went! We enjoyed Christmas celebrations with the Hughes family and spent a day with Great Grandma Avis. The kids were so excited about Christmas this year and have enjoyed playing with all their new toys---a big thank you to everyone!!

We enjoyed Christmas Eve with the Spencer side and then with my family on Christmas Day (of course, we forgot the camera!). Here's a few photos from Christmas Morning:

A Pink Dinosaur Ball Pit---what more could a girl want!! :)

Lila's favorite...Pinkalicious!

New baby "Abbie"

Hmm...what could be in here??

A New John Deere Gator!!!
